Different strains of cannabis chemically characterized by Gas Chromatography are available to patients suffering from various disorders like: Multiple sclerosis, Neuropathy ,Chronic pain, Depression ,Arthritis , Migraine, Spinal pain, Spinal cord injury, Spinal disc disorder, Spinal surgery, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Limited mobility, Epilepsy, Fibromyalgia, Insomnia, Skin conditions, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, Cancer and Irritable bowel syndrome.
Modes of Administration:
Smoking is the most common means of administration. Patients who want to avoid smoking; oral form of cannabis is available in form of cookies, butter, tincture and Cannacaps ( Cannabis capsules)
At the Green Cross society of BC we screen all cannabis samples for THC, CBD and CBN using HP 5890 SERIES II Gas Chromatograph. Cannabis with high CBD and low THC are heat treated, chemically characterized using chromatography and Cannacaps (capsules) are available for oral use.
We are currently supplying Cannacaps with high CBD and low THC to patients of Breast cancer, prostate cancer and other medical problems.
